Career: Since graduation from Veterinary School, Dr. Riebe worked at practices in Green Bay and Plover
Dr. Janet Riebe has always had a love of animals since she was young. Her mother recalls as a child, Janet would always want to care for any sick or injured animal in their neighborhood. It was this innate compassion for animals, coupled with her interest in biology and general science, that led her to a career in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Riebe started her career in Green Bay in 1992. She relocated to central Wisconsin in 1994, working as the small animal veterinarian for Corriente Animal Hospital. Dr. Riebe established her own practice in 1999, starting the clinic in her home. In 2001, the clinic was relocated to the current facility in Plover.
Dr. Riebe enjoys all aspects of veterinary practice, especially surgery. She enjoys the clientele, as well as the staff. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, mountain biking, camping, hiking, snow shoeing, reading, baking, Green Bay Packer football, and catering to her dogs and cats .
She is the proud “parent” of Ronnie (aka Veronica), a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiller mix from the Humane Society of Waupaca County and Logan, a Labrador Retriever from the Forest County Humane Society. She also has two domestic short hair cats, Fletch (from Portage County Humane Society) and Milton (from the Humane Society of Waupaca County). Dr. Riebe shares her home with her husband, John, who is also a small animal veterinarian.

Career: After graduation, Dr. Staus worked at a practice in Watertown; currently, she provides “relief” services to clinics in northern Wisconsin
Dr. Staus enjoys all aspects of veterinary practice, especially surgery and helping clients understand their pet's behavior. Dr. Staus commented that she enjoys her job at Woodhaven because she feels the standards of care and the staff are exceptional. She also loves the outdoors--especially fishing in summer. She enjoys scuba diving, playing piano, and various arts & crafts.
Dr. Staus is the proud “parent” of Armando and Yoda, domestic short hair cats, and Tanner, a Golden Retriever. Dr. Staus also shares her time away from work with her husband, Steve, who is from her hometown of Merrill.
We are thankful that Dr. Staus has been able to work with us since 2007 - she is a wonderful person and an excellent veterinarian. She is a great asset to our clinic.

Lisa has worked at Woodhaven since 2001. Lisa says she enjoys helping people to take care of their pets, to keep them happy and healthy. Lisa enjoys all aspects of her job, especially radiology and surgery.Lisa is dedicated to continuing education to keep her skills current. In 2006, she attended a seminar on anesthesiology and patient monitoring. In 2007, she attended a 2-day seminar on dentistry, and another seminar on animal nutrition. In 2008, she attended the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association general conference. In June 2009 Lisa passed the national exam to become a certified veterinary technician.
Outside of work, Lisa spends most of her time barrel racing with her horse, and training for agility with her dog. She also helps her fiance with his stock car during local races. Lisa is the proud “parent” of Gunner, a Jack Russel Terrier, Libby, a beagle, Sweep, a quarter horse, and Tink, a paint horse. Lisa also shares her home with her fiance, Todd.

Jamie - Veterinary TechnicianJamie joined our team in May of 2007. Jamie enjoys working with clients and their pets. She also enjoys working with her co-workers at Woodhaven, and has a strong desire to learn new things.
Jamie has excelled during her training at our clinic, taking a special interest in surgery, as well as behavioral issues of pets. Since Jamie is a licensed massage therapist, we hope to integrate her knowledge of massage into our patient care protocols. In addition to her interest in massage therapy, Jamie is also interested in alternative medicine. Jamie recently attended a multiple day seminar for animal massage therapy.
Jamie is the proud “parent” of Karma, a Dalmatian, and Maci & Lexi, domestic longhair and short hair cats from the Portage County Humane Society.

Sandy joined our team in 2006. Sandy enjoys working with clients and her co-workers. She takes special delight when a sick pet returns to health, easing the worry of the family. Sandy enjoys learning how to take better care of her own pets, and likes to observe surgical procedures. Sandy also helps with many of the Administrative duties, allowing Dr. Riebe more time to focus on patient care. Sandy has attended seminars on customer service, as well as managerial seminars.
Sandy is also very busy away from the clinic, dividing time between her family, her volunteer efforts, studying her family heritage, baking and oil painting. Sandy is the proud “parent” of Sammy & Sadie, Lhasa Apso dogs. She also shares her home with her husband, Rick, and her daughter, Kendra. She has two older daughters, Renae and Julie.

Annie has worked at Woodhaven since 2006. She says she really enjoys working with the clients and patients, and being able to help keep animals healthy and happy. Annie has a special interest in surgery and dentistry, assisting the technician and Doctor on a daily basis. She attended an anesthiology seminar in 2007 to enhance her skills with patient care.
Outside of work, Annie enjoys international travel, photography, kayaking, Tae Kwon Do, reading, horseback riding, and listening to many types of music. Annie is the proud “parent” of Stormy, a Rottweiller, and Claudia, Winston & Hekuba, domestic medium hair cats. She also cares for 2 horses, a pony, llama, burro, pot-belly pig, and 2 pygmy goats! She shares her home with her husband, John, and her daughter, Destiny.

Owen has worked at Woodhaven since 2008. He says he really enjoys helping with the pets and working with the staff at the clinic. He is a great help to any staff member that needs assistance.
Out side of work, Owen enjoys working on cars, attending car events, and camping. Owen is a member of Central Wisconsin Sports Car Club (CWSCC). Owen is the proud "parent" of Buddy, a beagle.
