Clinic tour

This is our surgery room. It is equipped with a circulating warm water blanket, surgical laser, monitoring equipment (ECG, Blood pressure,etc), and anesthetic machine.

This is the X-ray room where x-rays are taken and developed.

This is the treatment area. A lot happens here, as this is were we perform blood draws, nail trims, exams for day care patients, as well a preparing patients for surgery. We anesthetize, intubate, and clip the hair from the surgical patients before we move them into the surgery room. There is also a special table (picture on the right) where we perform dental procedures.

These are some of our kennels for the bigger dogs. We offer blankets or rubber mats to all of our patients to keep them comfortable.

This is our "cat room" (can also be used for small dogs). It can be closed off from the treatment area to offer a quiet area for those pets that don't want a quiet place to recover.

These are the exam rooms. One room has a window, this helps to distract some animals and helps them to forget they are at "the doctors". The other room has a collapsible table which allows more room for the bigger dogs or larger families. With the table put down, it gives more room to move and do a full exam.

This is our third exam room, it is used mostly for our technician appointments. Our technicians see appointments for booster vaccines, admitting and discharging surgical patients, and day care patients.

This is a very special room, a room for all seasons. This room serves a very diverse need in our clinic. Because of the location away from the activity of the daily practice, we are able to create a quiet peaceful and calming atmosphere for canine massage therapy. This also helps nervous pets, as they do not associate this area with the other exam rooms.

Since this room has a private entrance we also utilize this room for the "final good-bye" for our clients that wish to be with there pets during euthanasia. We are pleased to be able to offer this unique area to our clients at Woodhaven Animal Health.
